Thiruvulsavam 2024

The annual festival of Nellayi Mahamunimangalam Sree Mahavishnu temple will start on 2024 January 23(1199 Makaram 09) Tuesday Thiruvathira star and will end on 2024 January 29(1199 Makaram 15) Monday Pooram star. As about 30 Lakshs rupees were spend towards laying of Krishnashila inside and outside the main temple, Dharmasastha temple, Yogeeshwara(Brahmarakshassu) and also various works including Nadappura for Dharmasaastha tempe, this year’s festival will be conducted concentrating on temple rituals and cultural programmes of local people. We humbly request your august presence during the festival days and also request to help by booking various offerings well in advance as well as providing items required for the temple as well as financially. Online Offerings

As per the scheme a full day’s poojas and rituals will be performed on the member’s name and star on the day selected by the member in connection with birthday. Marriage anniversary, house warming anniversary or any other important/auspicious day of life. For this an amount of Rs 1500/- is to be remitted by the member will be kept in a corpus of Life Membership Fund and the yearly return from the corpus will be utilized to perform poojas and rituals both at Lord Mahavishnu’s as well as Lord Dharmasastha’s shrines. The ‘Prasadams’ of the pooja’s will be sent to the member either directly or through any of his family member’s or by post. In addition to this, the member will automatically become a member of Mahamunimangalam Sree Mahavishnu Temple Administration/Welfare group and can exercise his voting in their annual general body meetings.
