1201(2026) വർഷത്തെ തിരുവുത്സവം
The Thiruvuthsavam of the 1201 (2026) year of the Nellai Mahamunimangalam Sree Mahavishnu Temple will begin on Friday, 1201 Makaram 16 (January 30, 2026) with Shuddhi Kalasha in the Thiruvathira Nakshatra and will conclude on Thursday, 1201 Makaram 22 (February 05, 2026) with Aarattu in the Mahamunimangalam Kshetra Kadavu in the Utram Nakshatra. This year, a huge amount of money will be required to repair the damage of the temple's mandapam, nalambalam, etc. and to renovate and rebuild many damaged structures that are more than 25 years old. Therefore, it has been decided to increase the spirit of the deity by giving importance to the temple rituals and to organize small art programs related to the temple. Since the cost of this alone is expected to be more than Rs. 8 lakhs, various types of offerings and financial support are expected from the devotees and locals.

Online Offerings
As per the scheme a full day’s poojas and rituals will be performed on the member’s name and star on the day selected by the member in connection with birthday. Marriage anniversary, house warming anniversary or any other important/auspicious day of life. For this an amount of Rs 1500/- is to be remitted by the member will be kept in a corpus of Life Membership Fund and the yearly return from the corpus will be utilized to perform poojas and rituals both at Lord Mahavishnu’s as well as Lord Dharmasastha’s shrines. The ‘Prasadams’ of the pooja’s will be sent to the member either directly or through any of his family member’s or by post. In addition to this, the member will automatically become a member of Mahamunimangalam Sree Mahavishnu Temple Administration/Welfare group and can exercise his voting in their annual general body meetings.
