The Navaraathri celebrations in Nellayi Mahamunimangalam Sree Mahavishnu Temple will start on 1199 Kanni 29(2023 October, 15) Sunday on Chithira star. There will be special poojas, Vazhipaadu, Niramaala and Deepaaraadhana on everyday. Devotees who desires perform Special Poojas, Vazhipaadu and Niramaala are requested to book their dates in advance.

Pooja on books will start on 1199 Thulaam 05(2023 October 22) Sunday Uthaadam star. Dhurgashtami also on the same day.

Bundles of Books duly named for performance of Pooja are to reach the temple before 06:00PM on Sunday 22/10/2023.

Mahanavami is on 1199 Thulaam 06(2023 October 23) Mondat Thiruvonam. Aayudha Pooja also on the same day.There will be Thiruvonam Paayasam Nivedhyam on that day. Those who desires to do Paalpaayasam on Thiruvonam day are requested to book well in advnce.

Vijayadasami is on 1199 Thulaam 07(2023 October 24_ Tuesday Avittam star.

The Mahamunimangalam Sree Mahavishnu Temple Administrative Committee, Nellayi has planned to lay Krishnashilas(Blackstones) inside(about 1500SqFt area) as well as outside(about 2100SqFt area) at the path where Prathakshinams are done by devotees in out temple. A contract has been signed with Mr SethiraBalan of Myladi in Kanyakumary district to complete the works befpre the start of new Malayalam month Chingam by bringing the shilaas from Myladi. An amount of about Rs15Lakhs has been estimated for the completion of this huge project. This could be possible only with the help of liberal offerings of various wholehearted people. One can offer one or more Krishnashilas to the lotus feet of Lord Mahavishnu of Mahamunimangalam temple, Nellayi. An amount of Rs 3001/- will come for a Krishnashila(Blackstone) of 6Feet Lengh+2Feet Breadth+4inch thicknes. The offerings can be done in one or three instalments also. The plan is to complete the works before 1199 Chingam 01(2023 August 18) with re-incarnation of the powers in Balikkallu with a Dhravyakalasham.

Devotees who desires to offer for laying of Krishnashilas are requested to contribute to our SB AC/C No 12440100029671 IFSC Code FDRL0001244 on Mahamunimangalam Kshethra Samrakshana Samithy held with Federal Bank Nellayi.

Arrangements are made for the conduct of Pithrubali/Vaavubali in our temple Aaraattu Kadavu from 05:15 AM onwards and thereafter to perform Thilahomam on that day. Devotees can book by paying Rs 50/- for Pithrubali and Rs 100/- for Thilahomam There will be Ashta Dhala Bhagavathy Seva offered by the Vanitha Samithy of the temple on that day evening,

Neyyappam Nivedhyam will be conducted on the first Thursday of Malayalam month in every month. An amount of Rs 30/- is charged per packet of Neyyappam offerings.

Every month Paalpaayasam Mahanivedhyam will be there followed with Oottu on Thiruvonam day. Devotees can offer Paalpaayasam for Rs 100/-. An amount of Rs 7500/- is charged for the conduct of Thiruvonam Oottu by devotees.

Ashtadhala Bhagavathy Seva offered by gents committee members of our Temple in the evening.

Normally Paalpaayasam will be offered to Lord Sreekrishna and distributed to children and persons visiting the temple on that day evening.

Devotees can offer Paalpayasm by paying Rs 1350/- for 1 Kudam and Rs 700- for ½ Kudam. Facilities to offer Thrikkaivenna and Kadalipazham also will be there on that day.
